Sailing and Diving around Koh Tao,
Koh Tao is certainly one of the top world diving destinations. Not really because of the underwater world but because of the high turnover in students. One diving operation became PADI Dive Center Number One world wide by hitting the absolute yearly certification highscore in 2007. So, wher is the downside then? Perhaps overcrowded diveboats which have anyway a quite basic technical standard since most of them are inherrited from the collapsing fishing industry. But who cares? Diving is cheap here and supposed to be next to Utilla / Honduras the one of the cheapest places in the world to go scuba diving. Still, some travelers have slightly higher demands which led to the creation of the VIP Sail and Dive program of the Yacht Charter company ISLAND CRUISES on Koh Tao. So if you want more privacy and a dive at one of the almost alone under water marvelous dive spots around Koh Tao combined with romantic sailing on a real ocean going sailing yacht than this package might be the right one for you.

yes, I heared about these as well, southern part of Thailand has a beautiful nice clear water around Koh Tao, Ii think next holiday i will choose this place to go.;-)

Oh my God, sounds terrible situation on Koh Tao… crowded old stinky fishing boats bringing me to my favorite dive spots. I dunno I still wanna see the super attraction on Chumporn Pinnacle, the super trooper whaleshark plus baby and so on….
I guess spending a few Thai Bucks more and go on a “private” or “VIP” sailing diving adventure sound much more relaxed to me. But hey, just drop me a line and I will bring you there with “Black Pearl”. In the end, I AM CAPTAIN SPARROW!!!!!

I did not dive the Chumphon Pinnacle yet. If I am going I will let you know. When is teh best time to visit Koh Tao?

Hi Captain Sparrow,
The best time for diving on Koh Tao is January -April, offering the best visibility and agood chance of seeing sharks and whale sharks on Chumphon Pinnacle.
Cj, i can assure you that the VIP sailing trip around Koh Tao is worth the while. The crew is great, the boats are in good condition and sailing with these guys is a lot of fun

Thailand is officially known as the Kingdom of Thailand …. It is a very popular tourist destination because of its unique food, amazing beaches and interesting culture. There is lots of places to visit, like Big Buddha Hill ,International Walking Street-Pattaya , Sightseeing of Chanthaburi and Ko Lan , Viharnra Sien these all places are really best in every way to visit and enjoy the real culture of the Great Thailand.Kuh Tao is also natural place to travel and its really complete taste of the natural beauty… i must say…!!!!!!!!!!!!

As well does it seem to me that your reading skills must be limit ed as well. This site and this forum is more dedicated to Thailand as you can read within the domain.
